Have just bought a used Laser Fun sailing dinghy, the hull is fibreglass and she has a main and jib but no spinnaker. We,ve sailed her twice weather permitting and found her to be quite lively with a moderate wind. Is there anybody that can give me any info on this model of Laser, she looks very similar to a Laser Regatta, also any advice on how to get the best out of her.

many thanx Robert

Hi, I recently bought two laser funs for €200, one sail, one rudder, they need a lot of tlc but can be made sea worthy. Any ideas on where to get sails, will the sails of another boat work with them, I will be able to source a rudder.

Sorry, in response to your query, get on the water more often, on your own, and put it through its paces, all lasers are fun to sail. I like it when you have the wind on the quarter and it starts to plane (with nearly 18 stone sitting on it!)
