I'm researching the Aristocat catamaran designed in 1969 by Robin Musters & Ken Shaw - Later I understand the moulds were bought by Tony Smith (following a factory fire at his Telstar trimaran facility in Annapolis, USA) to become the Gemini Pheonix.? Can anyone help me with history, information, original articles, &/or titbits (perhaps ex-employees ?) to piece together this company's fortunes, what happened to the industry (killed by the VAT in 1972 ?) and it's (I presume mainly British) competitors of the day.. Much appreciate any and all information, photos, links &/or thoughts. Thanks, Pete < Peter.Bird@OysterMarine.com >
