USA boats in the Med - electrical issues?

Hi,

Like many others I'm thinking about buying a Sea ray in the USA and shipping it over to the med.

Can you please tell me if there are any electrical modifications that need doing to make it compatible with european power supply ... and indeed any other mods that would be neccessary.

Thanks a lot
Jeff.

I ahve brought many boats from USA to Australia, electrical issues here are we have 240volt/60hz USA is 110v/50hz, I buy a step down transformer between 100 watts through to 2000watts depending on what we need to run costs is about $250 thruogh to $2000 AUD. so all you need to check is you local power range, there boats are CE compliant and NMMA manufactured. Load rating from around 1992 onwards is 400 volt plus.
