Convertible vs. Sportfish

Hello,
I have a quick question that will hopefully take up very little of your time. What is meant by the term "convertible"? Might it refer to a boat with a Bimini that will lay back, like a convertible car top, or does it mean a boat that can be either a sport fisher or a cruiser?
