2007 115 Evinrude E-Tec

I'm getting ready to put a 2007 115 Evinrude E-Tec on my 20' Sea Hunt Center Console. Anyone comments on a 115 E-tec good or bad would be appreciated ?

Put one on my 175 Aquasport last year. GREAT engine. Starts after a 1/4 turn, runs smooth and and quiet, should be enough horsepower as my boat screams with it on there.....a 90HP would have been plenty...

I have 115 e-tec on a 17 pioneer, motor does not run 2 months old in the shop for the 3rd time same problem e-tec is JUNK!!!

I HAVE HAD 2 NEW E-TECS 2007 ON MY 17FT. BOAT THIS YEAR, THAY ARE JUNK, EVINRUDE CANT FIX THEM. KNOW ONE CAN FIX THEM. MIKE BINKERD SALT LAKE CITY UTAH.

I have a 2008 115 E-Tec on my Alumacraft Dominator 175. One full season of use, One time had a little difficulty after trolling, Otherwise, started and ran flawlessly every time. Nice sound, awsome hole shot, good fuel economy. Looking forward to the 2010 boating season.
