CP300i Chartplotters and CMAP ++managing waypoints++

I have a Standard Horizon CP300i unit.

I manage 100s of waypoints in mapinfo and also store in excel on my PC. I can export to many generic formats (dat,tab,txt, mid/mif,shp etc...). They tend to change fairly often.

The CP300i unit uses a C-MAP card to store charts and points. I also have a cmap card reader that connects to the PC through USB.

I would like to have a way to easily transfer my way points to the unit.

I was just given the unit today so im trying to figure out how to get it going and having trouble finding resources.

Hope someone can help with some advice on how to make this happen.

Thanks in advance,

Dave
