Reinstate the canal network

So why don’t we reinstate the canal network and other waterways to take off some of the traffic of the roads? It seems such a shame 100’s of men died making them - it seems we are not bothered about the people who created them and why? Nuts

It would be fantastic to put all none essential freight on the canal network. also reinstate the old local railway lines as well!
