Does anyone else get the same problem with fitting seaboots.
The cheapos are fine but go for an upmarket pair of breathable boots and your toes are cramped. It seems a problem with sizes 8- 9 where manufacturers increase the size by increasing the volume around the heel box not the width and height of the toe box. As a result there is nothing to stop your feet sliding forward and screwing up your toes. Buy a smaller size and they get crushed anyway. Buy a bigger size and the sliding around only gets worse. Last time I bought a breathable pair of boots I paid 180 quid sailed them from Southampton to Portsmouth and flogged them to a shipmate for 160 quid. Anyone else had the problem and found a solution or am I condemmed for ever to sweaty feet in cheap boots?
