how far are you willing to sail ? UK coast ? over to france holland or denmark ?

Actually, the navigation capabilities in the iPhone or an Android phone are rather precise. When using the Android's NutiCharts Lite program you have access to ActiveCaptain charts which are the most up-to-date charts on the market and when using iPhone, a new app called BlueChart Mobile will soon be available that also uses ActiveCaptain charts as a reference. ActiveCaptain uses its membership of thousands of mariners to update their charts for accuracy and with info pertinent to the area.
