Nissan Diesel Swap

I've recently acquired a 6 cyl nissan marine diesel. I plan on installing it in our Royal sea 23. We presently have a VolvoPenta 5 L (GM 305 cu in) pushing a Volvo Penta 290 stern drive. I know it is a long shot to think anyone may have done this mod before but any advice or tips would be helpful. The Nissan is set up for a borg warner now with the appropriate damper plate and housing. I am hoping that there may be a universal damper plate arangement on the 5L that I can re-use to mate the diesel to the 290. Electrically it will be a breeze (I love a diesel!) I just want to be prepared for anything else that may come up. Thanks very much
