mitsubishi 35hp

Just into boats and can purchase a 30ft steel at an excellent price. The surveyer put a scope on the mitsubishi and says he reckons there is engine blow back or something on engine but said it could last 5 to 10 years. No smoke , running perfect and in perfect condition. Mechanic looked at it prior to that and found no problem (but no scope).
Would l be crazy to purchase , 100% genuine seller and selling for other reasons.
Price would be excellent
