Mercury 4.5 hp not sparking

My merc 4.5 hp single cylinder suddenly stopped sparking,yet the plug is almost new,I think it might be the condenser but how can I test this one to see just what it is,it was running fine one day then not the next,I have checked the points and they seem fine.Thanks for any help.

Check that the earth connection to the condenser is tight,I had the same problem and thats what it was.I tightened it and it started first time.
