Fiberglass boat re-carpetting

I want to do it myself because the Marina wants $1400 to do it. It's a 17' Stratos and the main decks need new carpet. All suggestions on materials, suppliers, special tools would be appreciated.

Why not ask the Marina to show you some of the work they have already done on other boats. The quality of their work may be well worth the money they are asking.
