Evinrude 90hp (2002)

I have an evinrude outboard engine on a Brig 600 rib (also 2002). The electronic tilt on the engine has failed and I want to manually override it. However, the screw head I need to open is not easily accessible as the rib design hampers access to where I think the screw head is located. Has anyone overcome this problem in the past?
