PURCHASING A NEW OR PRE-OWNED BOAT

I AM CURRENTLY A JET SKI OWNER AND I AM IN THE MARKET FOR A BOWRIDER BOAT BECAUSE I HAVE TWO CHILDREN AGES 10,3! IM LOOKING AT A 2006 MONTEREY 248LS W A 5.7 VOLVO PENTA 320 HORSE MOTOR N VOLVO PENTA OUTDRIVE! ONLY 66HRS ON THE MOTOR! IS THERE ANYONE OUT THERE THAT CAN HELP ME WITH PURCHASING THIS BOAT AT A CHEAPER PRICE AND NOT ONLY THAT BUT SOME HELPFUL POINTERS AT WHAT TO LOOK FOR IN A PRE OWNED VESSEL? ANY ADVICE WOULD BE HELPFUL I KNOW SOME ABOUT BOATS BUT NOT ALOT!
