Currently own and sail a Topper Omega which is an excellent boat and has given us great fun over the past couple of seasons.

However, am interested in adding a smaller boat to the collection, and the Topaz Race Plus, made by Topper, has caught my eye. Looking for something that can be sailed both single handed and also two up, and more importantly something that is more transportable than the Omega, ie. Something that I can transport on the car roof. The Topaz hull weighs in at 60kg.

Does anyone have any experience of transporting such a boat on the roof of a car .......... Can it be done easily (I have a Skoda Octavia Estate)?

Any other views on the Topaz gratefully received.
