Can anybody give me some advice on the best way to reef a miracle.
Sailing single handed and not racing I would like to get a bit of extra
weight low down. Has anybody used a steel centre plate. If so what
is the best avenue to take. my tel. no. 0208 642 6027.

best wishes

you should have some eye holes in the mainsail, you put string through and
tye to the boom. this prevents you pulling the main right up the mast.
