laser 2000 or rs vision

Hi, whats the better dinghy and why. i am looking for something easy to look after, with a bit of speed, can be used on the sea, safe ie not to easy to turn over, etc.
so which boat, i am 16 stone and my partner is around 8 to 9 stone. thanks, michael

Laser 2000 is better than Vision; its like comparing a sports car with the family camper. RS Vision was built as a family cruising boat, while the Laser 2000 is more of a racing dinghy. It kind of depends on what you want to use your boat for, although you mentioned speed, so I'd go for the Laser 2000.
