Unknown sailing dinghy
My cousin and I have recently aquired a new(to us) sailing dinghy. We were hoping to sail it during the half term holidays which start next week, the only problem is that I can't seem to find out what type of dinghy it is. I have reasearched on the internet but can't find anything on this dinghy. It looks as though we may not be heavy enough to keep it upright as we are only 12 and 15 years old but I would appreciate any help. There is no manufacturers plate on the dinghy at all. I would guess it is around 15 ft long, although i could easily be wrong, it is of plywood construction with an aluminium mast, a trapeze and looks to be quite racy, it is fractionally rigged with red sails with the logo on the sails almost identical to that of a mirror dinghy. The only difference being that on the top of the M there are two burgee shaped triangles. So i would have thought that these two dinghies are related in some way, however it is definetely not a mirror. Any information would be greatly appreciated as we would really like to know. well anyway i've found out its a marauder/mirror 14, however theres practically nothing on the internet about this dinghy
