Jolly Boat National Championships

My post refers to the 18-foot Jolly Boat racing dinghy designed by Uffa Fox.

Does anyone know when the Jolly Boat National Championships took place at Weymouth? The event I am interested in was probably in August and possibly in 1958. However, it could have been a year or two either side of this date. My main concern is to fix the year.

Alternatively, does anyone know how to find out?

Any information would be appreciated.
