Hello Sailors, I just found this site and am glad to see that it's not just motor boaters that use it. Nothing against them, I just like the peace and quiet of nothing but the wind in the sails and water lapping against the hull. I've currently upgraded from my first sailboat ( a Venture/Newport 23 ) to a Hunter 27.

I sail on the Outer Banks of North Carolina, primarily in the sounds and occasionally in the ocean when I feel brave. I hope to do that more often since I now have a larger boat. I look forward to hearing from any of you out there.
