Contest 31 v maxi 95
I am trying to decide what I want in the way of a pre-owned Yacht..I am trying to decide between a Maxi 95 and a Contest 31. I am a day boat sailor, not terribly experienced and need an easy to sail reasonably roomy 5 berth yacht that will stand up to a bit of bad weather if I get caught out in a blow and not horribly expensive to maintain. I do not race and have no desire to cross the Southern Ocean. Ideally the boat would have room to have a heater and hot water supply fitted, a shower would be a bonus but not essential. i intend to cruise the UK south Coast, later the east cost and eventually the French coast and maybe the Med. Does anyone have experience of these 2 boats in that kind of role that they are willing to share?
