Any owners out there of a Windy 37 Grand Mistral or people who have had an experience with it? I would be interested on any comments regarding its seakeeping. How does it cope with rough seas compared to other similar size boats? Build quality and seakeeping are supposed to be excellent, is it actually true?

have a 2006 Grand Mistral, it`s my fourth boat and by far the most agile and precise one. We live in Norway and have taken the boat way out into the North sea. Handles very well, mostly due to it`s slender and sharp design. Is totally safe at +25 knots in +10 feet waves. I`ve never been in a boat with such a "vault door impression". Hardly any clatter or sounds even in high speed an rough seas. In Norway, where we have long traditions in boatbuilding, Windy are regarded the premium and the Grand Mistral the top of the premiums.

Thank you Hans, beautiful! enjoy it!
I have mine for two years now and I love it more and more. I have gone from Greece to Italy and back, been in Force 7 seas and the boat has always simply been great!
Question: what top speed do you get? and what speed at 3000 rpm?

Hi I am glad to hear what I already know
I have been in the business for many years and have sold many High end boats at least I thought so, until I sea trialed the Windy 58 Zephros, 52 Xanthos, the 48 Triton and the 35 Kasman, That Kasman with the 370 D6 Volvos is a weapon. These boats are the best I have seen, The Quality and the finish leaves the other manufactures in its wake,

We are estatic to be distributing Windy in Australia in the new year, all I can say is I was blown away by the people who build Windy , even the cleaner is proud.
Windy never said no to anything I asked and I can reflect that in my customer service!!

I can't wait to take delivery of the new stock .
One thing is for sure when the ozzies see Windy they will be blown away as well.

Sure these boats are a little dearer than its competitors but you get what you pay for. They are competitive to other high end brands but they don't get a look in. Windy leaves them floored in design and quality
So much so I am not going to bother to have a secondary brand
Having any other brand next to a Windy means no sale of the other brand
I can't wait my competiton may as well pack up and go home.

I can see that most people who will buy a windy will keep thier Windy for many years unless they upgrade to a larger Windy.
If you own a Windy I am sure you are the envy of other boat owners.
Merry Xmas to all and God Bless
John Wolf
