I have searched the internet and have found nothing on this character, so let me be the fist to for warn all of you that are considering purchasing a boat from this guy......... His location is in Riverside Ca. The owner operator is Mr. Forrest Pittard
He calls his boat line Omega Boats. Mr Pittard builds a 21 ft and a 23 ft Boat. He does build a nice boat however I have found out that he and his business have hit rock bottom..... He has taken a deposit of mine ( a large one ) around six months ago and has done nothing but spend my money....... He has not started the boat that I ordered. I have also found out that I'm not the only one that he has done this too. People do not do business with this little 72 year old man that claims he's been building for over 40 years. He may have been true to his word at sometime however these days he has been nothing but a liar and a very untrustworthy individual ... He has robbed, me I don't think he ever had the intent to build my boat.. To sum it all up no matter how many times he calls you and puts the pressure on do not give in such as myself. He will shoot you a price about 5000 dollars cheaper than anyone else. Remember if it sounds to good to be true it probably is. I have to now try and re coop my money back legally, I'm not looking forward to this. People learn from me ...................
Thanks for your time

Sorry to read your story, but unfornunatly, I am in the same position. I gave him a deposit in July, 06 and have just gotten a judgement in court. Now, trying to collect is another matter. Since the trial, Boat Works has closed its' doors and Forrest is no where to be found. Ant ideas where to look? Property? etc?

I wish we had seen your post before we bought a boat from Forrest Pittard at The Boat Works. What a crook. Fortunately, he only cheated us out of about $2,800. Try looking for him in Temecula or Nuevo, Calif. A family member (his wife?) breeds and trains border collies at Mary Ann Pittard Border Collies, 20670 Hayvenhurst, Nuevo 92567. Her number is 909-928-3196. Her email is mapbordercollies@aol.com.

Amazing. This guy stiffed me out of 4K in 2001 as Omega Boats in Ontario. He's probably the biggest crook that I have ever met. I wonder how much money he has stolen over the years. He'll do it to the wrong person someday.
