Hi, new to the forum. Hello..I have just bought a 16ft picton speedboat powered by a 60hp 2 stroke mariner outboard. I was out today with my mate with the same boat but he has a 50hp mariner 4 stroke outboard..His was slightly faster than mine is this normal...from what i have heard 2 strokes should be better acceraltion but this was not the case...also is it safe to run 97ron super unleaded fuel on this motor?? Thanks

97 Ron is safe just make sure you mix the 2 stroke oil correctly.
Nice little boat I used to have one of them.
