Does anyone know the age of a Hale Marine 17ft cabin cruiser?

Hi I recently purchased a 2 berth cabin cruiser and I am about to purchase insurance and I don't know the age of the vessel? all I see on the boat is a badge at the front that says HM17 which I think stands for Hale Marine 17ft or Halecraft Marine?? Any help would be greatly appreciated.. Thanks..
