Hi there, I'm thinking about buying a 1999 Bayliner 2655 Cierra. I have never had a boat before but want to start sea fishing with my son. Could anyone let me know if this is a good first boat and whether it's appropriate.
Asking price is 25k but I don't really know what to look for.
Thanks in advance!!!
Stef.
Ps. Does anyone know why Bayliners appear to be so cheap compared with most other makes?

They are often referred to as 'BINLINERS' apparently due to recent cost cutting instructions from Brunswick Corp (the parent company) - whilst older models may be considered well built (though not finished off well beneath the surface) the resale value may suffer.

talking about buying a new boat, make sure you look at this. for a long time i tried to find a good place to order outboard motors or boat parts, you know how difficult that can be. but i stumpled upon a place thats really great.

the pretty much got everything you could need and if they dont, simply ask, contact them. they are really nice and fast.
