Hi There,

Im thinking of buying the above boat and wondered if anyone had any opinions on them or any advice.

Its my first boat so I would be getting it surveyed before I buy, but would hope to get it for between £15,000 and £20,000 - does that sound fair enough?

Please let me know your thoughts or any things that I may not be aware of with these boats.

Thanks!

Hi Tony,

I was reading your post on this forum and it sounds like you are in exactly the same boat as me as I'm looking at something very similar in make and price. I'm completely new too and was wondering if you got any good advice?
Cheers,
Stef

i own one of these and it is my opinion that BAYLINER DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO BUILD A BOAT. BUY A SEA RAY OR SOME OTHER MODEL. to prove to you i own one. semd me your email address and i will send you a picture of mine.
there is no railing worth a damn for keeping you from falling over the front sides. also there is no walkway to get to the front of the boat when docking except through the front hatch and the windshield cannot be opened with the canvas top up. also trim tabs too small, no windows in midberth. hotter than hell down there. i have owned 5 other boats and i am a harley davidson dealer and i would never buy another bayliner. buy a carver. buying a bayliner is like buying a cessna 152 over a mooney. good luck. if it's your first boat, you won't know what you are missing. My Son Tim B in mora minnesota cut two boats into pieces last winter with his chainsaw for firewood in his shop stove last winter. GO TO BAYPORT MINN where the ANDERSON WINDOWALLS are made, there are two bayliners there for sale at $1,000 each. 26 ft to 28 ft. THE BOTTOM HAS DROPPED OUT OF MEDIUM BOATING AND HALF THE DOCKS ARE EMPTY because of this. IF YOU OWN A BOAT 100 FEET LONG, IT'S A SELLERS MARKET. people are waiting in line to buy your boat. small boats also are in demand. The medium sized boats like we have have lost all their value today because of the economic situation in this country upon the small businessman who originally bought these sized boats. THE DEALERS TELL ME THE TRAILERS ARE WORTH MORE THAN THE BOATS. have a nice day.
