boat charter abc

Hi! I am thinking about buying a sail boat for myself and I was wondering is it possible to charter it to other people. Does my boat need to have special permit/license and how big is tax for doing so? also are there companies in the UK market that I can use for chartering my boat commercially? thank you.

I think it depends on what type of boat you are looking to charter.
