Help powering my little barge

big builder

Hello everyone,

After reading some of the other posts I am feeling a little small.

we have a 12' wide by 40' fott long barge that we use for our home building business. It currently has dual 70 hp outboards on it. I would like to power it with a diesel or push with a really small tug boat. Super small tug boats seem almost impossible to find. I have been looking for diesel power to put in ( Detroit) but I don't have any idea what type of transmission it should have or size of prop etc. The barge is 3' deep and carries about 15 tonnes max.

Any help is appreciated.
