1958 Vacationer Runabout Restoration?

I have some experience building and repairing wooden canoes and boats. I'm thinking about buying a 16' 1958 Vacationer Runabout that is currently in usable running condition and looks like a great candidate for restoration this winter. Can anyone advise me if this boat would be a good seller if I did restore. The current asking price is $1300 and this includes a nice trailer and a running 1935 Lark Outboard. It has all the steering gear, looks weathered but has been in storage for about 10 years. It basically has no seats but looks like a solid interior. The price seems reasonable enough but is this boat worth the time? Would I be able to ask and come close to getting $4k for this if it was refreshed? Any advice?

Sorry I intended to say a "Running 35 HP Lark Outboard" Not 1935
