We have been searching for a yacht in the Med and the three agencies we tried to use were all less than helpful, for instance: we tried to make an appointment to view a yacht in the South if France and after three attempts we gave up, a week or so later we traveled to France and visited the yard where the brokers are based, made an appointment for 2 pm to look over a yacht later that day( the broker was busy) we turned up at 2 pm he arrived at 2.15.. we had gone to the yacht without him then left, I think if that had been arranged with an owner we would have bought the yacht.. I think many sellers are not aware of the poor service they are getting from many( not all) of these so called brokers.. any comments or advice?
