Intermittent Starting Issue

Please Help, crazy intermittent problem!!

I've got a Maxum 3300 SCR with twin 5.7 Mercruiser Bravo IIs. The boat has two batteries hooked with a battery switch and a battery charger. The batteries have been tested as good, and all connections are clean.

Occasionally when going to start the engines or generator I'll have minimal cranking - will crank slowly once, then just get starter click. Sometimes if I disconnect the batteries then reconnect them I'll have full cranking power, other times I get nothing at all.

Any troubleshooting tips, thoughts, or ideas?

Thanks!
Knute Steel
