i have an old little speedboat, simular to a shakespere, i have and mariner 40 outboard. i think its down to the cables or control box itself. i have a single leaver control and when i click into gear i have alot of slack before it starts to accelerate.. whens the control is fully forward the engine itself is not even half throttle. any ideas???
