Fuel Leak

Greeting. If anyone could help,

When I fuel up my boat, 76 Crestliner at the pump, prior to the pump cutting off on it's own, fuel leaks out of the through-hull breather. Makes a mess. Since I have just not fill it all the way but, I would like to find out if there is a fix for this. Thanks, Marc
