i have 145 johnson outboard motor, it starts okay and idles, when i go yo accelerate it does not respond. when it is going well, 30mins to an hour later the motor reduces speed to 2500 revs for no apparent reason. i have replaced the solonoid, spark plugs and leads, the coils, had the VRO checked by outboard specialists and they tested it in a tank but went okay for them. placed a fuel filter on the fuel line. its seems when under preasure it reduces speed, i have also replaced the prop as the original had chips out of it but the new is stainless steel and slightly smaller. it seems there a switch of sorts that cuts in when something isnt right but dont know what. could assist and what else to check
