This Puget Sound 34 offers six berths in three cabins including the saloon. She has over six feet headroom throughout and benefits from lots of natural light. The teak finished interior and blue upholstery give a warm feel to this motorboat which is enhanced by the Webasto diesel cabin heating system. 

Designed by Bill Dixon and built by Chung Hwa Brothers of Taiwan, the boat has been well maintained and upgraded the current owner including new electronics, artificial teak decks and new upholstery.  This boat is ideal for coastal use or channel hopping in comfort. 


Accommodation :

This Puget Sound 34 offers six berths in two cabins and the saloon. The Forward Cabin has a large V–Berth with under berth storage and hanging locker to starboard, located on the port side the forward cabin has access to an En-suite heads compartment with sink mounted in a vanity unit with a marine toilet, with holding tank, mirror, and in-built shower tray. The sink has pressurised hot and cold water and a shower attachment. Hot water is heated by the calorgas fuel heater and 240v immersion heater.   

The Wheelhouse saloon offers great visibility through three large windscreen panels and side windows when sat on the Helm. The helm position is located on the starboard side, with wheel steering, engine controls and offers great access through a sliding door to the starboard side deck. The port side offers a large navigation area, additional navigator seating and storage. 

Located behind the helm position on the starboard side is a L-shaped seating area with a table that opens out and drops to convert to a double berth. On the port side behind the navigation area is the galley, equipped with a 2-burner gas hob, gas oven and grill, fridge, microwave, cupboard storage and single stainless-steel sink with pressurised water heated by both 240v immersion and Calorgas fuel water heater. The saloon floor fits to provide easy access to the two Ford Lehman engines.

The Saloon also offers, TV, Digital Yacht Wifi and Webasto diesel heating. 

The Master cabin is in the aft of the vessel, with a double berth to starboard with under berth storage. Additional seating to the port side of the cabin, which can be used a single berth. The aft cabin is light and airy which is enhanced by the opening deck hatch and door which leads on to the aft deck. This cabin also has access to an En-suite heads compartment with sink mounted in a vanity unit with a marine toilet, mirror, and in-built shower tray. The sink has pressurised hot and cold water and a shower attachment.

The opening deck hatch leads out to a large aft deck and bathing platform and flybridge with external helm position with seating and table. The high guardrails make walking around the deck very secure. There is a bathing platform with davits for the dinghy.

History and Construction:

The Puget Sound 34 designed by Bill Dixon was built in 1979 and built by Chung Hwa Brothers in Taiwan. She has a white GRP hull and superstructure with Flexideck teak decks (replaced in 2022),portholes and a teak interior. The vessel has been owned by the current owner since 2021. The new owner has completed a significant number of upgrades to this trawler yacht. The vessel is only being sold as family priorities have lead to a change of retirement plans.  Last out of the water in 2021.

This Puget Sound 34 has twin Ford Lehman 80HP 4 cylinder naturally aspirated diesel engines. The engines are powering two shaft driven three bladed fixed propellers. Giving an approximate cruising speed of 7.5 knots and an approximate maximum speed of 8.5 knots, the engine is fresh water cooled, last service in 2021 and current engine hours are 4169Hrs. The engines are supplied by three 450-litre steel fuel tanks giving a total fuel capacity of 1350Lts. The Vessel was last out of the water in December 2021


Electrical Systems

6 x 12-volt 105 Ah (2017) batteries charging from engine alternators and 240 volt Sterling 30Ah shorepower battery management system. A Clarke G1200 four stroke petrol generator is included in the sale.
