Legend 41 Aft cockpit
2006 Legend 41, not commissioned until 2007. "Whimbrel II" is Lying Chichester Marina. Formerly used as a display boat at both Southampton & London Boatshows. She is everything you would expect from a nearly new boat. Raymarine Electronics, BOSE sound system and flatscreen TV, In mast furling, Cruising chute and more.

Strategic rigging placement onboard the Legend 41 Aft Cockpit keeps the deck clean while the standard cockpit arch positions the traveler up and out of the way while also providing bimini, stereo speaker and overhead lighting connections. The Legend 41 Aft Cockpit features superb interior design, featuring an elegant salon, high-gloss table and custom window treatments, plus zoned overhead lighting.
The boat is lovely - easy and comfortable to sail especially shorthanded. Remarkably spacious and comfortable down below. Perfect for Couples sailing. Configured as "Owners stateroom" version with Large master Cabin in aft with ensuite. Forward guest cabin with ensuite. Beds in cabins are sprung mattresses. Saloon converts to large and spacious double.

Rigging
One of the strongest and easiest to sail rigs ever designed. Like a tripod, the rig is supported from three sides with equal tension all the way around. The need for a backstay has been eliminated. This allows for a larger main that provides more efficient power that’s easier to manage. With the big main, the jib can be smaller and easier to handle as well.

The famous Legend Arch houses Traveller on top whilst underside houses speakers to the dedicated cockpit cd player and a courtesy light. The clear cockpit has a cockpit table, drinks holders and the aft seats in the sternrail. A swim ladder and cockpit shower are also provided.

First Commissioned Oct 2007. Extensive kit list built to highest specification -outside and in. In mast furling main. Furling jib. Kemp sails cruising chute with snuffer. Upgraded diesel to yanmar 56hp. Last serviced July 2009. Full Raymarine electronics including plotter, depth, speed, wind with additional standalone gps mini plotter at helm. Raymarine hydraulic autopilot.
The Arch
When Legend first introduced the arch over 10 years ago, the skeptics were all against it. Today, many of those are now offering arches of their own. There is no question – the arch is a real asset. By placing the traveler up top, it keeps the cockpit clear and safe. As an attachment point for a bimini, it makes a clean installation. The arch is also perfect for stereo speakers and cockpit lights.
