Solar 32
An economical and sea kindly motor cruiser with attractive lines and sturdy build, equally at home on French canals or as a coastal cruising boat. Spacious layout designed for two to stay onboard for longer periods of time with a large cockpit and good inventory. Recent Perkins Sabre engine, Borg Warner gearbox, cooker, fridge and navigation equipment make this a lot of boat for the money and worth serious consideration.
Mechanical Systems
Located under wheelhouse sole, Perkins Sabre M135 6cylinder 135hp naturally aspirated diesel engine (new 2005). Freshwater cooled via heat exchanger. Single lever controls with electric start. Borg Warner Velvet Drive gearbox (new 2001). Shaft drive (new shaft and cutlass bearing 2005) to 3bladed propeller. 90 Gallon fuel capacity in linked 40 and 50 gallon fuel tanks. Full engine instrumentation.

6 x 12v Batteries charged via Sterling digital engine alternator. Shorepower system with ring mains, immersion coil and Sterling digital battery charger with split charge facility. Inverter. Full cabin lighting.
