Contest 38
"REDUCED" Saecula is a strongly built classic fin & skeg ocean going yacht. The fin keel is long enough to allow lying along side harbour walls/ posts and drying out. Balanced design easily handled by 2 crew.
Purchased and prepared by current owner especially for a liveaboard extended cruise to the Med via Gibraltar completed 2005 to 2007 covering approx 8,600 nautical miles, man and wife( 7 stone) crew.
The vessel has been much admirred by all friends/ fellow sailors encountered on our trip.
We now need to down size for estury sailing in future on the East English coast.

General Description:
Raked stem, counterstern GRP sailing yacht , bermudan sloop rigged.
Cockpit is lined with Iroko hardwood slatting to floor & seats
( renewed 2003) , wheel steering & compass. Electronic speed, depth
Stern mounted swim/MOB recovery ladder, outboard bracket,
danbouy with strobe light. Vessel fitted with deck and mast tricolour navigation lights. Aluminium mast fitted with stainless steel mast steps and radar ( fitted 2005). Stern area has stainless steel gantry housing two electric solar panels and one Rutland 913 wind generator with
electronic controls ( all 2005)
Foredeck fitted with Lofrans Airon 1000 watt electric anchor windlass (2005) .Cabin roof fitted Zodiac racing super 4 liferaft (1999 model)

Forecabin has large double V berth fitted with 8" composite coir/foam/latex mattresses ( 2005).( can be used as two singles)
