The 38's layout is not cramped with unnecessary berths. She provides berths for a couple and 3 guests, but she is designed to provide the amenities that are so necessary for extended voyaging and even full time life aboard. These include a stall shower, book case, cabin heater, separate navigator's seat, U shaped galley, and very generous stowage throughout. Ventilation is suited for tropic waters with 4 cowl vents, 6 opening ports and 2 skylight/hatches.
The warm teak interior within an insulated hull provides extensive storage, a large workable galley, good sea berths (can sleep 6), hanging wardrobes of real size, refrigeration, air conditioning, separate shower stall, hot & cold water, etc. … for a comfortable lifestyle in the security of steel. Description
Aragosa 38 Cruiser
Regina II was purchased in September 1990 by the original and current owner. It was built by Aragosa Yachts Inc. of Toronto Ontario Canada and designed by Ted Brewer as a modern sloop in every respect of styling, rig hull shape and construction.
The tall masthead, rig spreads, good sail area and with her low wetted surface she will slide along easily in light airs.
In strong breezes, her long waterline will provide good potential speed while the moderate displacement and powerful hull will help her stand up to the weather and move out nicely.
The construction is kept as light as possible while adhering to the American Bureau of Shipping Standards for offshore class A. A very fair hull is assured by the use of closely spaced longitudinal on transverse framing. Canadian registered but EU VAT paid.
