Under sail the boat really excels in headwinds. Possible to sail at 35 degrees apparent. Freed off speeds of 10kts can be achieved. The “in-mast”-furling main makes setting sails + reefing so easy.
ENGINE: PERKINS Prima 50 HP diesel, NEW GEARBOX 2008, gearbox with single lever control, stainless steel propeller shaft, with DARGLOW 3 Blade Feathering Propeller (Blades feather when sailing. Pitch alters when Reversing) - Dual circuit cooling with sea water filter, Exhaust system upgraded to Stainless Steel - Isolated engine compartment with working light – steel Fuel Tank: content with fuel level indicator and diesel filter.
Under engine the 50 HP Perkins plus the Darglow prop deliver 8kts in flat water at 2500 rpm
and again in heavy seas and headwinds this power has proved a godsend.

HULL & DECK: GRP to Lloyds approved specification, yacht carries a Lloyds hull construction certificate. The hull is white and the deck white with gray non-slip surface. The keel is cast iron & externally bolted on. The hull has style lines & boot top and deck style lines.
DECK FITTINGS: S/S pulpit + push pit, complete with push pit gate. Stanchions + sockets with twin S/S guard wires. S/S stem head fitted with two bow rollers, anchor + chain. 4x mooring + 2x spring cleats. Handrails to coach roof, deck hatches, ventilators, opening ports. Fuel + water tank fillers, molded in bathing platform complete with swimming ladder.
COCKPIT: large center cockpit has seating on 3 sides with well-designed comings for comfort and security. WHITLOCK S/S Wheel steering is fitted with binnacle guard, compass + engine controls. The engine instrument panel is set into the comings and a sailing instrument console fitted over the main hatchway. All sail controls are led aft to the cockpit. Teak on cockpit seat and C/pit floor (recent replaced all the cockpit teak with 3/8th (much thicker than the original). Teak cockpit table + Cockpit Cushions

ACCOMMODATION:
3 cabins / 5 berths (+ saloon 2 berth) / 2 heads compartments
FORE PEAK: Cain locker with access from foc´sle – enlarged for easier use of chain
FORE CABIN: comfortably roomy cabin with 2 single berths, which are convertible to a double (slightly shorter as standard). Under the berth are generous storage spaces complete with PVC liner bags. Locker space is provided along the ships sides above the berth. A hanging locker is provided aft of the berth with a vanity unit opposite. A large opening deck hatch is fitted in the deck head for light & ventilation. The cabin is fitted in teak with carpeted floor surface. Front cabin now panneled to match saloon.
1st TOILET COMPARTMENT: fully fitted out with a marine toilet, hot & cold pressurized water, washbasin & shower area. An electric pump removes shower wastewater. An opening port light provides ventilation and light. En-suite access is also provided to the fore cabin.
SALOON: light airy saloon, U-shaped settee to stb (part of the U shaped settee in saloon was removed at the factory when built to add space) + single settee opposite to port; large folding leaf dining table centrally mounted. Storage space is provided outboard of settee backs + in locker + shelving units above. The saloon is fitted out in teak. An opening deck hatch + ventilators provide ventilation.
NAVIGATION AREA: situated aft of the saloon on the stb side, chart table with chart storage space. Locker space for instruments, electrical distribution board complete with circuit breakers and indicator lights is fitted adjacent to the table.
QUARTER CABIN: situated behind navigation area (cabin has been modified to allow a second wardrobe to be built in the owners cabin). Locker & hanging locker space are provided. Large opening port light for light & ventilation. The cabin is fitted in teak with carpeted floor surface.
GALLEY: area fully fitted out with chopping board cover, 2 burner cooker with oven + grill fitted in gimbals with S/S crash bar + fold away worktop - Microwave working from shore power. A top opening refrigerated icebox is fitted below the galley worktop (New Fridge motor that automatically switches off when batteries are low). There is ample storage space with lockers + drawers for crockery + cutlery. The galley is fitted out in teak with easily cleaned laminate worktops. 6 place setting dinner service and cutlery + Cooking utensils, saucepans, pressure cooker.
TOILET COMPARTMENT: Aft of the Galley is on the port side. This compartment is fully fitted out with a marine toilet, hot/cold pressurized water, washbasin + separate shower area. An electric pump removes shower wastewater. An opening port light provides ventilation and light. En-suite access is also provided to the aft cabin.
AFT CABIN: reached through passageway from the saloon on port + stb side + has en-suite access to the toilet compartment. This cabin is remarkably spacious with a full size central double berth (double bed was extended at factory by six inches), settees to port & stb, wardrobe + locker space provided. Opening port lights + deck hatch provide light + ventilation. teak interior in very good condition - Approx. 6' 4'' headroom –
