Dark blue GRP hull and GRP sheathed Marine plywood deck and superstructure. Teak hull belting and badging. Heavy duty “D” fendering around the whole hull. Semi-displacement hull design. Hull epoxied as a preventative measure. Current survey report available.“Marengo” was originally built as a Pilot vessel, and converted to a luxury cruiser at Douglas Boat Yard in Preston (1990).

Engine(s) Twin Ford Mermaid turbo charged diesels. 300hp. each. Heat exchanger cooling system. (Factory built in 2000). Conventional shaft drive. Full engine instrumentation and Morse single lever controls at the helm position.New stern glands and propeller shafts in 1995.Automatic fire extinguishers in the engine compartment.Two new stainless steel fuel tanks. New exhaust system.The owner reports a top speed of around 26 knots and a cruising speed of around 20 knots.

Electrics Engine belt driven alternators charging a 24v. electrical system. (New batteries). Shore supply with ring main in the vessel. Navigation lights Comprehensive interior cabin lighting 3 X Pantograph type windscreen wipers

Accommodation For five. Varnished wood interior with light blue upholstery. Hot and cold water supply. Description from forward: Fore Cabin with two single V berths. Stowage under berths. Access to forepeak.Heads Compartment with sea toilet. Teak shower grating on sole. Lower Saloon with dinette to port which converts to a double berth. Galley opposite to starboard with Plastimo two burner cooker with oven and grill. Sink and fridge. Up to Wheelhouse/Upper Saloon with helm position and helm seat to port. Full engine instrumentation and controls. Chart table to starboard. Small settee berth. Adjustable table. Doors to Cockpit with slatted seating port and starboard and seat with locker under across the transom.
