Grand Banks 58 Eastbay FB
Grand Banks is very proud to announce the latest addition to their Eastbay line, the Grand Banks 58 Eastbay FB. As with all Grand Banks¡¦ Eastbay styles, the quality of Grand Banks Yachts manufacturing is evident. The hull of the 58 Eastbay FB is solid fiberglass below the chine and cored with vacuum-bagged PVC foam in the topsides. A smooth ride and exceptional performance is always guaranteed with the authentic Hunt Associates hull design. The standard engine package of twin 800 HP Caterpillar 3406E¡¦s offers cruising speeds of 23 knots and a top speed of 27 knots. For those interested in faster cruising, the 58 Eastbay FB has an optional engine package of Caterpillar 3412¡¦s rated at 1400 HP. This will provide a fast, smooth cruise at 30 knots with a top speed estimated at 34 knots.
As one admires the profile of the 58 Eastbay FB, an elegant and functional design element immediately catches the eye. The commanding lanai deck leads to a generous, integrated, spiral staircase that curves gently from the cockpit up to the spacious flybridge. Teak decking in the cockpit is standard with walk-in engine room access via a Freeman® watertight door. Ample side decks leading forward are painted in low-maintenance Awlgrip®. Stidd® helm seats are standard equipment on the flybridge and lower helm. 24 volt DC electrical service and a high capacity generator is standard with the convenient Glendinning® shore cord retractor being part of the package.
The fine details of the 58 Eastbay FB continues upon entering the main salon. It is here that the Grand Banks luxury and practicality are most evident. Interior design concepts by noted marine and aircraft designer Patrick Knowles, have resulted in an interior of great elegance and comfort which, at the same time, respects the Grand Banks heritage. Guests will enjoy the excellent 360¢X visibility from the salon that includes a fully glazed, sliding Freeman® aft salon door. To enhance the warmth and ambiance, a Bose® sound system is installed throughout the boat.
The 58 Eastbay FB¡¦s standard layout includes a spacious master cabin with island berth and en suite head, two accommodating guest cabins with shared head, and an efficient down galley. An optional layout offers a fourth cabin or office and galley up. Stacked washer and dryer is standard equipment.
