Romantic in the classic maritime sense, the Grand Banks 46 Europa's spacious deck house opens aft to a shaded cockpit, a design feature both functional and beautiful.
Built on the same hull-form as the popular 46 Classic, the Europa offers an additional design distinction that further encourages indoor/outdoor activity: a flybridge that extends over the side decks. The result is an attractive, safe-from-the-weather steering and navigational station. At anchor or at dockside, a teak-crafted door slides open, providing a direct connection from the salon to the roomy, aft cockpit space.
Sleeping arrangements are equally attractive. Those who plan to cruise with extra guests aboard often choose the three-cabin, two-head layout. Some also choose to construct a special cabin for crew or children in the spacious storage area under the cockpit.
