NEW TRADER 42 SPORT DECK
With such a versatile air-draft, the Trader 42 Sportdeck makes the ideal craft for cruising a myriad of UK and Europe’s inland waterways. Easily managed by a couple and very well equipped to deal with her full compliment of 6 guests.
This UNUSED Trader 42 Sport deck features a three cabin layout with double owners stateroom, twin forward VIP and portside twin bunks, all furnished to the highest specification, the owners stateroom has ensuite and both forward cabins have the benefit of a starboard guest head with full stall shower and vanity facilities.
The Trader 42 Sport deck open plan galley and saloon has been designed to create a light, spacious and practical living area. The seating area has been raised to enable guests to enjoy the view, with a huge amount of natural light flooding in from the saloon windows and two feature skylights. The galley is very well equipped featuring a ceramic hob, oven/ microwave, under counter fridge/ freezer and ample worktop space with black granite- effect worktops.

Main deck sheathed in prime quality teak, side deck gates, teak laid side and fore decks, raised bulwark around bow, deck fillers for fuel and holding tank pump out, electric windlass with 2 way remote control, 60m galvanized 10mm chain, 27KG CQR type bow anchor - stainless steel salt water deck wash, transom cleats 6 fenders and lanyards, 2 warps, twin horn unit, boat hook, aft deck enclosure, low level side deck lighting, sea stair down to bathing platform, deck lighting in underside of mast, low level around deck and on sea stair steps, twin helm seats to stbd, transom seat with integrated teak folding table, drinks fridge aft deck access to saloon, raised bulwark round aft deck, twin transom stainless steel gates, HYDRAULIC PASSERELLE/ CRANE, transom wing handrails, mooring bollards on raised platforms fore and aft with fairleads, locker for transom shower, teak extended bathing platform, s/s boarding ladder in bathing platform, raised bow platform for easy access to anchor and deck fittings with anchor roller, self launcher and chain stopper. Engine monitors - electric type with displays at helm- tachometer, volts, oil pressures, water temperature oil and change warning light, stop and start switches, engines are fresh water cooled with salt water cooled heat exchanger and water jacketed exhaust manifold engine and gear box oil coolers, single lever electronic throttle and gear controls, 12V electrics - negative earth, 8Hp electric bow thruster, trim tabs, 3 heavy duty MASTERVOLT GEL 12V batteries, MASTERVOLT charger/ inverter, MASTERVOLT remote control for charger monitoring.
Log with speed, distance and trip, echo sounder with alarm, 24-mile radar/platter with 12" display, GPS, Radar reflector, VHF with DSC, TV and VHF antenna. Major compass with night illumination, variable speed windscreen wipers with washers, 12V accessory socket.

ENGINEERING
Twin CUMMINSQSB5.9 @380hp diesel engines, close coupled gearboxes via flexible couplings with handed reduction boxes driving stainless steel propeller shafts running in stern glands with water lubricated bearing in shaft log and ‘P’ brackets both with water lubricated bearings, single lever electronic throttle and gear controls, water injected exhaust system with silencers, cleanable bronze sea strainers to both engines, 12Volt electrics, negative earth, 8hp electric bow thrusters, trim tabs with indicator controls. Complete soundproofed engine room, natural ventilation to engine room through topside and superstructure grilles with natural and forced extraction systems and full remote vent closures to seal engine room.
Hydraulic steering with variable ratio helm units, twin fabricated stainless steel rudders carried in lower and upper bearings.
Twin fuel tanks complete with balance pipe deck fillers and breathers, tank mounted sight gauges with fuel shut offs.
GRP water tank aft complete with deck filler, breathers, electronic fuel gauge and sight gauge, hot water is heated by engine coupled with calorifier with 240v immersion heater, fresh water service lines (hot and cold) in copper, electric pressure pump and accumulator set.
