The Hustler 30 has proven herself to be a good seaboat, speedy, well balanced with fine lines aft. This example was professionally fitted out by Hartley Marine for John Tyler as a demonstrator and boatshow boat and has been well maintained by its current owner of the last 18 years.
Mechanical Systems
Located abaft companionway, Yanmar 1GM10 one cylinder 10HP inboard diesel engine (new in approx. 1990). Single lever controls with electric start. Shaft drive to fixed 2-bladed propeller.

2 x 12v Batteries charged via engine alternator. Cabin lighting.
Sails & Spars
Masthead bermudan sloop. Anodised aluminium mast and boom. Spreaders. Stainless steel standing rigging (new 2001). Terylene running rigging. Slab reefing mainsail. Moulded by Tyler Boat Company Ltd and professionally fitted out by Hartley Marine in approximately 1970. White GRP hull, superstructure (both unpainted) and decks with non-slip surfaces. Cast iron fin keel. Tiller steering to skeg hung rudder. Self draining cockpit.
