Seadog 30
Well thought after sea boat with very practical layout and excellent build quality. This example has been well maintained with recent sails and standing rigging, and has only had two owners since new. Recently reduced as it has been discovered that the boat requires an osmosis treatment, however the owner will still hear offers on the asking price.
Mechanical Systems
Located under cockpit sole, Perkins 4107 37hp 4-cylinder diesel engine. Freshwater cooled via heat exchanger. Single lever control with electric start. Shaft drive (new 2004) to fixed 3-bladed propeller (new 2004). 2 x 26 gallon fuel tanks (new 2004). The engine and related systems were updated in 2004 including a new alternator, main water pump, jabsco cooling pump, 2 x flexible couplings, cutlass bearing, propeller and shaft.
2 x 12 volt batteries charged via engine alternator. 240v shorepower system with ring mains. Full cabin lighting.
Sails & Spars
Ketch rig. Gold anodised masts and booms. Tabernacles. Spinnaker pole. Stainless steel standing rigging (new 2004). Terylene running rigging. Slab reefing mainsail. Rotastay headsail furling system. 2 x Lewmar sheet winches. Single halyard winch on mast.
Mainsail, mizzen and furling genoa, all new 2004. Spinnaker with all running gear in good condition.

Construction
Built in 1968 by Reg Freeman Yachts Ltd, Whytes Shipyard, Southampton. GRP construction with white topsides, eggshell blue superstructure and painted non-slip decks. Encapsulated long keel with internal iron ballast and twin bilge keels. Self draining centre cockpit with console mounted wheel steering to a keel hung rudder.
