With her hand laid, fully reinforced GRP hull, purchased in 1983, superstructure in 1988 but not launched/commissioned until 1995, this solid motor sailer has excellent sea-keeping abilities, exceptional sailing qualities and naturally spacious accommodation.
Over a period of some three years Nimrod has been professionally and sympathetically refitted at considerable expense to her current owner will bills near 50,000. Spars, rigging and winches have all been replaced complete with a new suit of sails. Navigation equipment has also been updated to include Raymarine chartplotter/GPS, Clipper compass & Weatherman and NASA radar, the list goes on .. Nimrod also benefits from epoxy treatment and copper coated hull with a Fox s Five Year Guarantee against osmosis (exp. June 2011).

History
Colvic Watson are renowed for this solid, heavy displacement motorsailer.
The hull was built in 1983 and the superstructure in 1988, the boat was finally finished in 1995 when it was launched and commissioned with no masts or rigging. The boat was used as a cruiser untill it was purchased by the current owner in 2004. The boat under went extensive refurbishment in 2006/7 with no expense spared. The carpentry and finish are fantastic and the boat has an extensive inentory. The bills for the 2007 refurbishment near 50,000 and it really shows. Since the refurbishment the boat has been little used and the owner is reluctantly selling a much loved boat full of time, effort and care. This boat really must be seen as it has to be the best example on the water. You won't find better.
