<p from='gbd1'>The Westerly Fulmar is renowned for its sailing performance, sea keeping ability and comfort. This is a really nice example of these ever popular family cruisers with a recently fitted engine and a good suit of sails. The owner has continually upgraded and maintained the boat to a high standard and she is presented for sale in excellent condition.</p>Accommodation<p from='desc'>The accommodation offers up to six berths in two cabins with full standing headroom. In the forecabin, V berth with infill and stowage under. Opening hatch to foredeck. Separate heads compartment to port with marine toilet and washbasin. Holding tank. Hanging locker opposite. In saloon, two settee berth, one converting to double. Pilot berth. Fixed table with drop leaves. Chart table to port with large quarter berth behind and galley opposite. Two burner gimballed gas cooker with grill and oven. Stainless steel sink with manually pumped water. 130 litres freshwater capacity. Refrigerated coolbox. Various crockery and cutlery. Self draining gas bottle stowage in cockpit. Taylors paraffin cabin heater.</p>Mechanical Systems<p from='desc'>Located abaft the companionway, Yanmar 3GM30 three cylinder 27hp diesel engine. Electric start. Freshwater cooled via heat exchanger. Shaft drive to Kiwiprop three bladed feathering propeller (2005). Volvo non-drip shaft seal. Spurs shaft fitted rope cutter. Single lever control. 90 litres fuel capacity giving approximately 150 mile range at 6 knots cruising speed. Maximum speed under power 7 knots. The engine was installed new in 2003 and has completed some 300 hours running time since.<br><br>Alternator charging to 3 x 12 volt batteries. 12 volt distribution panel by Taplin (2001). Tiller steering with Spinlock tiller extension.
